OCEAN PARK – SCHOOL SPECIAL

Ocean Park is a unique marine aquarium bringing the underwater world of Barbados to adults and children alike. You can even walk underwater without getting wet! 

Open Daily from 10:00 A.M., we would like to take this opportunity to introduce to you a fun and new way to educate children about Barbados’ marine life and the vast underwater world.

Ocean Park is complete with 26 aquatic displays and tanks ranging from our Freshwater Falls to our Touch Pools, where children can carefully handle (under supervision), starfish and other sea creatures. Ocean Park gives children and adults alike the opportunity to look at small and large species in a unique way where they will learn that the seas and oceans are home to all kinds of marine life.

Conservation of our reefs, corals, marine life and coast line is very important, our onsite classroom is a perfect setting to teach children about conservation methods and how they, as individuals and as a team, can help to preserve this immense underwater world for their future. Ocean Park is also an ideal location for SBA research for those students who wish to pursue marine biology projects.

Bearing in mind the importance of educating children, we would like to offer a special entrance fee for school class trips and summer camps of $10.00 per child (ages 12 & under), $15.00 per child (ages 13 – 17) and $25.00 per adult for those parents, teachers or counsellors who wish to join them on their outing. One (1) adult for every 15 children for the touring group will be complimentary, one (1) complimentary adult for every 5 children should they be 4 years and under.
Miniature golf is also available at an additional $5.00 per person.

Food and beverage or transportation for all tours can also be arranged at an additional charge and must be arranged prior. Please note that outside food and beverage is not allowed on the park unless under special circumstances, is subject to availability and MUST be pre-arranged.
